Marlene
Melban is a 57-year old secretary/bookkeeper and housewife. She states:
"In
June of 1995, I was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. After one year of
the medical treatment, which included (1) two surgeries, (2) 10
chemotherapy treatments and (3) $95,000. The cancer returned after
only one year! In other words, after all of the agony and suffering
and time spent in the standard treatment program, I was back
to square one. The only thing the standard allopathic medical
profession would offer me was more chemo-therapy with the addition of
a harsher drug.
"Through a series of events I was lead by God to the renowned Dr. Ede and Radiant Health Institute. I didn’t know much about "alternative health" and her program but I was near despair. I came in faith that God had something for me here at the RHI’s 13-day in-house program.
"I
came to RHI feeling weak and nauseous all of the time. However,
after completing the program, I am leaving the institute feeling well
and strong physically and encouraged in good spirits.
"The
care, education, natural herbs and remedies I received here has
cemented my attitude towards the importance of a healthy diet and
lifestyle on the total well being of the individual and the personal
responsibility of each person to participate in the maintencance of
their own good health, that God had already been opening my eyes to.
"The
first improvement in my health was after about four days on the
herbs when I no longer needed my anti-histamine drugs that I had been
taking for years. A few days later, I began to breathe deeper than I
ever remember being able to. When I arrived, my abdomen was swollen
and it is now almost completely gone down to normal.
"I
believe that everyone would benefit from this program and highly recommend they consider attending even if they do not now manifest an illness. In fact, I believe it would be much to one’s advantage to enter the program while feeling well rather than wait until one is overcome with sickness.
"I
thank God for Dr. Ede Koenig and her husband Jean. They are true
servants of the Living God and benefactors to their fellowman. They
provide a true spiritual atmosphere where one can find God and His
healing power. These past 13 days have been a delightful experience
and an exercise in wholeness for our bodies, our minds and our souls."

Dear
Dr. Ede,
Greetings to you and Jean in the name of our Savior and Healer Jesus Christ. I am feeling great: The only time I’ve gone off my diet is when I had a tiny piece of cake and about a tablespoon of ice cream at my grandson’s 16th birthday party. I plan to have a cancer antigen test done next week. I’m expecting a good report.
I
went off of my estrogen medication when 1 started the program in
September and haven’t taken any since. In fact. I threw the
prescription away. I am having some hot flashes. They are not severe,
just uncomfortable. I have increased the HB herb from 3 per day to 6
in the iast couple of days. Is this OK? If not...what should I do?
My
gynecologist had also prescribed estrogen cream to be used vaginally
for dryness and thinning of the vaginal lining. What can I do for
this? Those are the only problems I am having.
When
I had surgery January 1996, the doctors implanted an intraperitoneal
catheter at the edge of my right rib cage to administer chemotherapy
drugs. After I stopped the chemotherapy they asked if I wanted it
surgically removed. At the time I did not want them doing anything
else to me so I said no for the time being. It does not give me any
problems. Do you have an opinion on whether it should be removed or
not? Is there any danger or harm in leaving it there?
Next
Monday, October 27th I would like to come to your place and bring
urine and saliva specimens for testing before you leave for the
winter. Is this OK? Also, will I continue with the same herbs and
minerals I am on or will there possibly be changes after I’m retested?
One last thing I’d like you to do for me is to send an information packet to Jim’s brother, Joseph. He called Sunday afternoon to tell us he’s been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The doctors want to do surgery and then possibly radiation and he may have to wear a bag for his urine. Jim encouraged him not to let the doctors push him into surgery and to wait to make any decision until after he has reviewed your materials. I am enclosing his address.
Love
in Christ,
Marlene
