HYPERTENSION (High Blood Pressure)
BLOOD PRESSURE DRUG CAUTIONS
European medical leaders recognize the dangers of Blood pressure drugs,
especially calcium channel blockers. They clearly report that these drugs
alone cause close to 100,000 cases of heart failure and heart
attacks each year. And while all blood pressure drugs tax
the body, this relatively new type of drug seems to be the most dangerous.
In fact, these drugs are trouble for many reasons. A study from the
University of Toronto showed that doctors who wrote articles in
medical journals supporting the use of channel blockers were much
more likely to have financial ties with the drug companies than other
authors who were critical or ever neutral on these drugs. And
although these drugs have been used far more than 20 years, their long-term
safety has never been documented.
In reality, all blood pressure drugs are very tough on the body. ACE
inhibitors block hormones, especially one from the kidneys. Diuretics
reduce the amount of fluid in blood vessels, which stresses the
kidneys. Beta-blockers reduce the force of the heart muscle and slow
the brain’s action over the nervous system. And calcium channel
blockers actually block calcium’s natural role in muscle contractions,
weakening and relaxing the muscles in the heart and blood vessels.
Calcium channel blockers listed in the Physicians Desk Reference
include Adalat, Calan, Cardene, Cardizem, Covera, Dilacor, Isoptin,
Nimotop, Norvasc, Plendil, Procardia, Sular, Tiazac, Vascor, and
Verelan. If at all possible, all these drugs should be
avoided. Since this is initially impossible for most people, the
next and only reasonable approach is as follows: Begin a protocol of
proper diet, exercise, and supplements to support the body’s natural
inclination to normalize blood pressure. When the drugs are
cleared, you will literally be a new person. All the problems
associated with these drugs, including impotence, dizziness, weakness,
heart failure, heart arrhythmia, and more, will simply melt away.
Hypertension
is a major problem in America. Most physicians tell patients they must
take high blood pressure (HBP) medication the rest of their lives.
Quote from Health Research; "The sale of blood pressure drugs in the
USA is a multimillion dollar industry." Most cardiologists spend a
great deal of effort and time "doctoring" high blood pressure.
They have only one answer - drugs. Anyone who reads the manufacturer’s
insert can quickly conclude that high blood pressure drugs are
dangerous and maybe even more dangerous than high blood pressure. The
perfectly amazing thing is that doctors honestly see no risk in taking
HBP drugs. Why would they? It’s all they have and all they
have learned. And last, but by no means least, it’s their living.
Millions in America have High Blood Pressure (the pressure in the
arteries that supply blood to the body has gone too high). Why has it
gone too high? The arteries, which actually have very little
muscle in them, are able to control the amount of blood that is fed
into the system to either open or close them. In the body there
is a key substance, which is nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is an
important relaxant of the arteries and is critical to the proper
functioning of the arteries. There is a very key raw material
needed to produce nitric oxide, which is a protein. Nitric oxide
is found in L-ARGINE. (there is no L-ARGINE in animal or animal
products).

Chest pains disappear when you are on an Argine rich diet. Argine is
being used by the endothelium cells in the arteries to make nitric
oxide, which relaxes arteries and the hypertension melts away.
Some more hypertension fighting foods: Apricots, peaches,
berries, oranges, avocados, broccoli, celery, kale, lettuce, peas,
whole grains, nuts and seeds.
